WOOOOH. Tell your mom to get the hell out of your space. Show her this: Music is art, and a matter of personal preference. If your son listens to his own bands, instead of condensed radio rap and soft rock, it means that he is developing his own thoughts and ideas, which is something that you should be proud of. Introducing censors on music will prompt him to sub concsiously want to rebel against such rules, no matter how good the kid is. If it is swearing or inappropriate themes in the music, then just know this: Know swearing or songs about sex will poison your son or take away his youth before you want him to go. Knowledge against your will is all a part of growning up, and 13 is teenagedom. Listen to your son’s wishes, you are a parent, not a gaoler.
Yeah. I suppose. I like them, they have good songs, such as The Middle which are actually pretty uplifting. A lot of rap has sexual and derrogatory lyrics, and that’s what you should stay away from.
